Soybean Viruses - Risk Assessment

Fields with these signs are at most risk from virus infection:

  • Moderate to high insect activity
  • Lower-than-expected yields
  • Mottled seed
  • Presence of leaf symptom such as mottled, crinkled leaves on the newest growth.  
  • Delayed maturity; signs of green stem syndrome at harvest maturity
