The NCSRP board held its summer meeting in Manhattan, Kansas, hosted by the Kansas Soybean Commission and Kansas State University.
The board heard updates on checkoff funded research in the areas of aphids, soybean breeding and soybean pathology. The board resolved to increase awareness of SCN management issues to help soybean growers increase profitability. The board heard a proposal about a new SCN educational concept and will review a revised proposal at the December board meeting in St. Louis, Missouri.
